Text Case Converter

Paste your text and convert it to any case with one click.

What is a case converter?

A case converter changes the capitalization of text without retyping it. It is handy for fixing text typed with Caps Lock on, formatting headlines, preparing code identifiers and cleaning up copied content.

Available formats

  • UPPERCASE: every letter capitalized.
  • lowercase: every letter in small form.
  • Title Case: the first letter of each word capitalized.
  • Sentence case: only the first letter of each sentence capitalized.
  • camelCase: words joined with no spaces, each after the first capitalized, common in JavaScript.
  • snake_case: lowercase words joined by underscores, common in Python and databases.
  • kebab-case: lowercase words joined by hyphens, common in URLs and CSS.

Tips for headlines

Style guides differ on which small words (a, an, the, of, in) stay lowercase in titles. This tool capitalizes every word, so review the result if you follow APA, AP or Chicago style.
